GIS Application Developer/Programmer

The GIS Applications Developer will develop and refine custom GIS applications, user interfaces, and web services using GIS/web-programming technologies for campus administration and facilities management as a core member of the UMD Enterprise GIS team.  Assists in integrating GIS services with other university information systems.  Builds tools and develops processes to automate and enhance GIS/information management workflows for desktop and web systems.  Incumbent must have experience and proficiency with the Esri ArcGIS product suite, including ArcGIS for Server, the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, Python, HTML5, and associated technologies.  Ability to function within a team of professionals; to plan, organize, and prioritize project tasks and work independently.
